Product Details and Usage Areas

The Pedestal Classic Natural Stone Pedestal Sink redefines luxury with its freestanding stance, rescuing bathroom architecture from the ordinary and giving the space a sculptural focal point. Produced by masterfully processing a single 50 kg, 42×82 cm solid travertine block, this design rises directly from the floor without the need for any countertop, presenting a powerful and noble presence in the space.

The most striking feature of the Pedestal Classic model is its dual surface texture. The upper basin, which is the functional area of the sink, is processed to be completely smooth (honed) to facilitate water flow and prevent stain retention. The lower body is covered with a horizontally lined fine break (grooved) texture, creating elegant shadow plays under bathroom lighting. The characteristic warm beige and light earthy tones of travertine bring the tranquility of nature and organic warmth to modern, rustic, or minimalist bathrooms. When paired with long-bodied floor-mounted or wall-mounted concealed faucets, it achieves a perfect architectural harmony in your bathroom.

Design and Usage Advantages

Freestanding Sculptural Stance: Its freestanding structure, requiring no countertop or cabinet, creates a prestigious focal point in any bathroom, whether narrow or spacious.
Dual Texture Contrast: While the smooth upper basin provides ease of use, the horizontally grooved lower body adds artisanal depth and visual volume to the design.
High Durability: Its single-piece solid travertine structure, weighing 50 kg, maintains its original form for many years without wear.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are the water and drainage pipes connected to the pedestal sink?

Our pedestal sinks are designed to be compatible with standard plumbing systems. The back or base of the model has suitable spaces for water inlet and drain pipes to be concealed and connected aesthetically. It can be easily installed with plumbing coming from the floor or the wall.

Do the horizontal lines on the lower body collect dust?

Light dust that may accumulate on the horizontally grooved outer surface can be easily cleaned by brushing along the direction of the lines with the help of a soft-bristled brush (or toothbrush) and warm soapy water.

Does the upper basin leak water or stain?

No. The interior of the sink (upper basin) is sealed and smoothed with special natural stone fillers. As long as you do not use acidic cleaners and prefer pH-neutral products, it will not stain and absolutely will not leak water.
